History sometimes throws up some strange truths, that the most British of motorcycles owes its existence to a German.

Men with name Siefried Bettmann created the motorcycle company in 1883 which would later be known as the maker of Triumph Motorcycles. He bought and sold bicycles and imported sewing machines from Germany. Then he changed the name of the company to the Triumph Cycle Company in 1886, a name synonymous with British bikes was born. When the fellow countryman Moritz Schulte arrival to the company, they are significant development. The journeys of Triumph motorcycles company is not without seemingly insurmountable challenges, but the Triumph motorcycles has been in the business for some quite time.

The triumph began distributing bicycles and went on to develop motorcycles in 1889. Then in 1902, they began to produce motorcycles which were fitted with a Belgian-made engine. Triumph went on to produce motorcycles in Germany factory and as production rose to more than 500 units in 1903. During the First World War, the company had a break.

Moritz Schulte decided to leave the company after the war since he could not agree with Bettmann about the issue of car manufacture. The company bought the former Hillman car factory in Coventry in 1920, and had produced the first car bearing the name of The Triumph Motor Company by 1923. The journey of Triumph motorcycle is long tail story, then nowadays we can see that Triumph are one of the best motorcycles in the world. Today they have not lost the touch and if you desire they are still producing a rocket between your legs.
